Full Stack Developer (Python)
Team – Technology
Location – Cambridge, UK
Contract – Full-time, Permanent
Salary – Excellent + benefits
Company background
SATAVIA applies data analytics and cutting-edge atmospheric science to make aviation smarter and greener, leveraging high-performance-computing to accomplish our mission of cutting aviation’s climate impact by 60% (or 2% of all human climate impact).
SATAVIA leads the field in aircraft contrail prevention, enabling eco-conscious operators to drastically reduce per-flight climate impact by eliminating harmful surface warming and quantify achieved climate benefit. Compared to multi-year timelines for other green aviation solutions, SATAVIA’s technology is a unique example of low-hanging fruit in the battle to decarbonise aviation.
SATAVIA is in the process of growing a team of exceptional people, combining talent in atmosphere and climate science, aerospace engineering, and full-stack cloud software and data-engineering.
We are now looking for passionate and motivated individuals to join our expanding team. Based in our Cambridge office, you will become part of a fun and highly collaborative environment, combining innovation, team spirit, and commitment to expand the art of the possible in green aviation.
The opportunity
SATAVIA is now looking for a Full Stack Developer to join the team and contribute to the development of our next generation 5-DX and NETZERO platforms.
We are a small, agile, and growing team focused on accelerating the development and delivery of our ground-breaking atmospheric digital twin platform, DECISIONX:5-DX. By digitising the atmosphere from surface to space, 5-DX enables decision-making (DX) across five dimensions: 3-D space, time, and probability.
We are still at an early stage within the product roadmap, and this role will have a significant impact on how the product is developed and built. It is intended that this post-holder will work closely with the product team to help optimise the development and build process.
As we are an early-stage team, this role will be perfect for an individual with a well-rounded background who wishes to grow in a role as the company develops. This role will provide the successful applicant significant opportunities to advance their career as a technical specialist, whilst simultaneously learning new skills using the latest technologies.
