The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to join the senior leadership team. We want someone who has ‘seen the movie’ and has big ambition and an entrepreneurial mindset.

As an executive member of Satavia, the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is responsible for the performance, strategy, and alignment of revenue and commercial operations. This position is responsible for all aspects of revenue growth, including new business, account expansion, marketing and partner channels.

We want an experienced and efficient leader with excellent people skills, business acumen, and an exemplary work ethic. The ideal individual will have a long history of delivering significant revenue growth within a B2B organisation.

Important: This role is for someone excited about getting their hands dirty in the early stages of growth.

Main Responsibilities

The CRO will be responsible for:

Executive Leadership

• Shaping a clear and strategic vision for revenue growth and effectively communicating that vision throughout the organisation.
• Create accountability within the company by implementing appropriate goals and coordinating compensation and promotions with these metrics.
• Become a thought leader in our industry, participating in key industry events.
• Identify team processes and skill deficiencies for ongoing training development to drive increased performance and success of sales, marketing and customer success managers.
• Consistently demonstrate a passion for the company’s core values.
• Drive a “lean start-up” style environment of constant experimentation and learning.
• Effectively resolve issues across the marketing/sales, customer success, and technology functions.

Marketing

• The CRO will be charged with designing marketing strategies to increase the customer base and revenue. The CRO will also be responsible for launching in new verticals.
• Build a world-class marketing team to create and execute winning marketing strategies to drive profitable growth.
• Produce sales enablement materials for each stage of the funnel.
• Define relevant market research requirements and speak with customers/partners to understand their pains and needs continuously refining the Attractions.io value proposition.
• Lead a data-led customer acquisition strategy, utilising, where appropriate, paid and non-paid strategies to meet growth targets.
• Build the brand strategy and marketing tone that shapes the vision across the company.
• Optimise the marketing stack.
• Monitor competitors to provide competitive analysis, strategies and tactics, and have the ability to be creative and agile in response to any competitive challenges

Business development

• Grow and manage the sales team, leading by example, to deliver on revenue objectives and market development targets. You will be hands-on initially with selling and lead generation.
• Coach the team to execute on opening and closing deals end-to-end, including outreach, pitching, solution development, building internal and external alignment, negotiation, contracting and implementation.
• Actively manage the sales and opportunity pipeline for forecasting and management reporting.
• Develop metrics-driven processes, providing actionable and accurate information to optimise the sales playbook, developing and implementing robust sales management processes – pipeline, account planning, and proposals.
• Build sales training content and continuously optimise for conversion rates.
• Work closely with marketing resources to build lead flow in line with company goals.

Customer Success

• Inspire customer success leadership to define and deliver on the customer value proposition.
• Drive customer lifetime value by defining the customer journey; deploying programs to help drive business value with customers, customer goal achievement, new features, and new use-cases; collaborating across teams to identify and pursue customer growth opportunities.
• Drive improvements in internal workflows and resources to elevate the quality and efficiency of the Customer Success team.
