Tender Coordinator (French Speaking) Permanent

The primary objective of the role is to pro-actively support the tender and bid management elements of the business for the France/BeNeLux region.  You will be expected to work individually and as part of the team, researching and understanding individual pre-qualification and tender requirements in respect of the submissions being made to ensure that they are accurate, fully compliant and that deadlines are successfully met.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake and complete PQQ, PFQ submissions and technical/compliance information to accompany tender bids and responses to expressions of interest
• Download/upload tender documents via procurement portals
• Maintain and update a library of frequently used documents and standard responses
• Liaise with colleagues to gather supportive data and works information (we collaborate deeply at Illumina)
• Assist in the approval process before the tender is submitted
• Create production of final response documents
• Assist with the production of new documentation
• Manage tender tracking / contract lifecycle management tool
• Monitor European tender releases to identify relevant ones for Illumina
• Internal/external communications

• Liaise with the Commercial (sales, services, support, finance, contracts) teams to meet overall objectives
• Ensure the company is always represented in a professional and consistent manner.

Required Skills:

• Fluent French (verbal and written)
• Excellent English language knowledge (as we expand our business across Europe this will mean other European languages are also desirable but not essential)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good computer literacy
• Experience in a similar role and industry preferable
• Knowledge of the life sciences and clinical diagnostics market desirable

Required Experience:

• The ideal candidate for this role may have a tender related background or experience within business development / bid management
• Be an excellent co-ordinator and good general administrator
• Able to prioritise changing workload requirements
• Able to work to tight deadlines
• Data entry and excellent attention to detail
