The Applied Technology Group at TTP is a multidisciplinary team working with a range of clients and partner organisations including the UK Ministry of Defence, prime system integrators and SMEs to offer innovative solutions across the product and technology life cycle. We leverage our broad and deep scientific and advanced engineering capabilities, evolved through more than thirty years of advanced technology development for commercial, consumer, medical and industrial applications, to rapidly create technology solutions that address the continuously evolving threats and challenges faced by the UK defence and protection forces. We understand that technology can be the critical difference that provides the winning edge – nowhere more so than in the business of protecting the UK’s interests at home and abroad.

Requirements
Qualifications and Training
We are seeking an innovative hands-on physicist with a 1st or Upper 2nd class degree from a leading university. Postgraduate research or commercial experience is desirable.
Skills and Experience
We would expect the successful candidate to have in-depth specialisms coupled with a more general capability modelling physical systems with the ability to analyse and solve real world system-level problems.

We undertake extremely varied and challenging projects encompassing a wide variety of technical areas and, in addition to the above, a track record of developing solutions for “specialised” challenges within a technically demanding market and an ability to work beyond the purely technical is highly desirable.
