Experimental Physicists at TTP have an unparalleled opportunity to contribute to some of the newest and most interesting technology advances in the life sciences industry. Our work includes the development of complex instrumentation and hardware for control and measurement of biological molecules and cells, often involving fluidics, dynamic mechanisms, optics and high-speed signal processing. Consequently, your scientific curiosity, inventiveness and hands-on experimental creativity will be tested on a daily basis.
You will enjoy working in multi-disciplinary teams, in a fast-paced environment and liaising directly with clients to understand their needs. We work in collaborative teams of bright scientists, engineers, designers and technicians that you will comfortably fit into from day one. In addition to day-to-day team work, you will have regular contact with clients ranging from start ups to multinationals. You will need to be able to communicate effectively at all levels evidencing a high level of technical competence and commercial acumen.
It is really important that you enjoy creating elegant and simple solutions to complex technical challenges. This is the crux of what we do at TTP and our ability to flourish directly depends upon the capabilities of our teams. You will be taking on a significant level of project responsibility from the outset, so this role isn’t for the faint-hearted.
