About StarLeaf
Founded in the UK in 2008, we have a global footprint with representation on every continent and offices across the world. We are on a mission to transform the way businesses communicate and collaborate by designing intuitive messaging, premium meeting and calling solutions.
In September, the company was named in the Gartner 2018 Magic Quadrant for Meeting Solutions and one of the fastest growing tech companies in the UK by The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100.
Our culture is built on collaboration, inclusion, creativity and support. This permeates everything we do, across all our teams and operations. We believe everyone at StarLeaf has a part to play in our success and that everyone should be rewarded for their contribution. This is why every single permanent StarLeaf employee becomes a shareholder through the company’s share option scheme.
Hardware Engineering at StarLeaf
At StarLeaf you will be involved with designs from conception to mass production. You will draw up specifications for new products, design the circuit boards and enclosures and visit our factories to see the first products off the line. It’s hard to beat the satisfaction you get from watching hundreds of your own designs being assembled.
We make use of a wide range of analog, digital and mixed-signal technologies. Our designs incorporate whatever solution best fits the challenges at hand, be that FPGA, CPU, DSP or something completely custom. From day one you will be working on real designs and be solving real challenges that drive the business forward.
We organise our teams into small groups and assign new graduate engineers a mentor to give you the necessary day to day guidance and support as you undertake your first projects with us.
Every engineer at StarLeaf has autonomy and responsibility for their own projects – something that is simply not available at many other companies. StarLeaf is growing rapidly, so there is ample opportunity for specialising in the areas that interest you most and as your career progresses with us, we work hard with you to find new learning and development activities – no matter what your level of experience.
